A Ford Transit 14 seat minibus in Avalon paint and optional appearance pack

The Ford Transit 14 seat is a rear wheel drive, single rear wheel minibus which comes in a medium roof height and accommodates 13 passengers plus the driver. It meets the M1 European Private Hire Vehicle safety requirements.

This minibus is 2084mm wide (with mirrors), 5680mm long and has a turning circle of 13.3m kerb to kerb. Seating configuration is driver and dual front passenger, second row dual seat, third, fourth and fifth rows have a dual seat and a single seat.

NB. The 3500kg GVW (350) version of the 14 seat Ford Transit may be driven by a non category D1 license holder on a non-commercial basis (towing and roof-loading not permitted). But the 3700kg GVW (370) version cannot be driven by a non category D1 license holder. We do not list the (370) version as the Ford Transit 17 seater also requires a D1 to drive on a non commercial basis are a more sensible purchase as you will get 3 extra passenger seats.

A Ford Transit 14 seater with optional alloy wheels

There are two versions of the Transit 14 seat minibus. T350 for the 3500kg version and T370 for the 3700kg version. The T370 requires a D1 category to drive and can be used to pull a trailer as it has a GTM of 5500kg. The T350 does not need a D1 category but cannot be used to tow a trailer as it has a Gross Train Weight equalling the Gross Vehicle Mass.
