A Ford Transit 12 seat minibus with optional alloy wheels and metallic paint.

There are two models of the Ford Transit 12 seater: T350 and T370. Within these two models there are two trim levels. Base and Trend. It should be noted that it is only the T350 model, Base or Trend that can be driven on a normal car licence over the age of 21, not for hire and reward. The T370 requires a D1 category to drive. ie.

• T350 Base (3500kgs GVW)
• T350 Trend (3500kgs GVW)
• T370 Base (3700kgs GVW) - requires D1 category to drive
• T370 Trend (3700kgs GVW) - requires D1 category to drive

The standard specification has european type approval and is approved for the UK market include due to its crash tested M1 seating.

NB. It is only the Ford Transit (350) 12 seat minibus below which can be driven under a normal B category car licence. (T350) signifies a gross vehicle weight of 3500kgs.

Colours Available

The 12 seat T350 and T370 models come in the following colours:

Solid colours: Frozen White, Race Red or Blazer Blue (non chargeable)
Metallic colours: Moondust Silver, Stratosphere Blue, Tectonic Silver, Panther Black, Lunar Sky, Deep Impact Blue or Midnight Sky (chargeable optional extra)

T350 & T370 common specifications

There are two versions of the Transit 12 seat minibus. T350 for the 3500kg version and T370 for the 3700kg version. The T370 requires a D1 category to drive and can be used to pull a trailer, as it has a GTM (gross train mass) of 5500kg. The T350 does not need a D1 category but cannot be used to tow a trailer as it has a Gross Train Mass equalling the Gross Vehicle Mass.
